The Big Carry is led by singer/songwriter Matt Dooley and features Kurt Hager (guitar), Evan Jungbauer (banjo), John Hartberg (harmonica) and Kip Dooley (guitar and vocals). Much of the music was written on a five-day canoe trip that Dooley took in the Boundary Waters in August 2012.
